With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Wilson (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; and his sons, Clyde Douglas Wilson, Mark Darren Wilson and Jerry Van Wilson. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Wilson; and his grandchildren, Tasha Starnes, David Wilson, Casey Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Jennifer Hegler, Morgan Wilson and Trevor Wilson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.

In lieu of flowers Pawpaw's wish would be to have contributions given to his great-granson Levi Starnes's Education Fund by mailing to State Employee's Credit Union, In care of Tasha Starnes P.O. Box 687, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
