She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayden Sheppard and Gladys Carnes Rape. She is survived by: her husband David Mitchell Deese; her children, Sheppard (Kristen) and Sarah Broome (Anthony); her grandchildren, Kolby, Hayden, Hannah, Caleb and Parker; and her siblings, Shirley Floyd, Dora Birmingham and Warren Rape. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
