It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Herweyer Hill (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Holland, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herweyer and Hattie Wyma Herweyer; and her siblings, Dale, Dutch, Earl, Albert Herweyer and Ella Tinholt.
She is survived by: her children, David Cunningham (Sharon) of Zephyrhills, FL, Reggie Cunningham (Margie) of Spruce Pine, NC, Carol Arant of Monroe, NC, Wanda Gates (John) of Lake Wylie, SC and Walter Hill (Wendy) of Kannapolis, NC; her brothers, Carl, John Lee, Larry and Elliott Herweyer; and her grandchildren, Loren, Arron, Troy Cunningham, Justin Cunningham, Jarrett Arant, LeAnn Weigand, Matt, Daniel, Heather Gates and Ryan Hill. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
