He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rorie Dean of Monroe; his children, Sherrill Wilson Dean of Monroe, Teresa Dean London of Little River, SC and Caroline Dean Edwards (Burton Kyle Edwards) of Maggie Valley, NC; his grandchildren, Derek Brandon Davis (Nikki), Joseph Lauren Davis (Molly), Kylie Blair Kuehn (Chance), Zackery Burton Edwards (Eliza), Ty Austin Edwards and Anna Smith London; his great grandchildren, Stevie Kuehn, Hadley and Mabel Davis; his sisters, Carolyn Braswell and Mary Ann Wright; and his brother-in-law Bill Wright of Little River, SC..
