George Griffin III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Griffin III (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Nell Griffin. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Blackwell; his children, Edgar B. Griffin, Jeffrey W. Griffin, Shelia Gagliardi of Lancaster, SC. and Kimberly Bigham of Lancaster, SC.; his brother David Griffin of Rock Hill, SC.; and his close friend Marian Pittman of Fort Mill, SC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, and Indian Land Lodge 414, 9189 Charlotte Hwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
