He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fowler Funderburk; his children, David Funderburk and Trina Martin (John); his siblings, Larry Funderburk of Mt. Pleasant and Sandy Helms of Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Martin and Melody Martin.
