We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2019, at the age of 90, Jimmy Eugene Drake (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Drake and Verla Baucom Drake; his brother Heath Drake; and his niece Rebecca Honeycutt. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Pressley Drake; his children, Debbie Baucom (Tom) and Jimmy B. Drake (Phyllis); his grandchildren, Kelly Hinson (Jeff), Shannon Wright (Tony), Scott Drake (Jessica) and Lauren Helms (Brandon); and his sisters, Edith Honeycutt (Maurice) and Judy Griffin (Bobby). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Mill Creek Baptist Church, 5417 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
