He was predeceased by : his parents, John Baggot Bishop and Mae Dillard Bishop. He is survived by : his wife Judith Wilson; his sons, Michael Bishop of Wingate and J. Bradford Bishop of Atlanta; and his sisters, Teresa Caine (late Donald Caine) of Greensboro, Judith Spillers (late William Spillers) of High Point and Martha Beasley (Ken) of Easley.
