He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Anne Claudepierre; his former wives, Ruth and Doris (Larko); his children, John Maier and Barbara Maier; and his grandchildren, Evan Ozimek-Maier of Clifton, VA and Molly Ozimek-Maier of Clifton, VA. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
