She was predeceased by: her parents, Azer D. Baucom and Ruth Secrest Baucom; her husband Louie C. Young; and her siblings, A. D. Baucom, Jr., William "Bill" Baucom, Philip Baucom, Doris Daniels and Sue Hatley.
She is survived by: her son Michael "Mike" Young (Sarah) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Angie Rogers (Derek), Katie Hall (Michael) and Andrew Young (Ali); her great grandchildren, Jacob Rogers (Angie), Meredith Hall, Liam Hall (Katie), Abigail Young and Adalynn Young (Andrew); and her sisters, Martha Rollins (Dallas) and Elanor Helms of Monroe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to: St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 909 Circle Drive, Monroe, N.C. 28112.
