With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Allen Muncy of Monroe, North Carolina, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on October 15, 2020 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Muncy and Stella Taylor Muncy; and his sister Annette Dalton. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Brown Muncy; his brother Bob Muncy (Gayle); and his grandchildren, Jason Allen Muncy, Stephen Austin Muncy, Victoria Lillian Muncy, Mary Ella Muncy, Josh Batton and Jeremy Batton. He is also survived by four sons.

Due to practicing social distancing the family will have a drop in visitation from 10:00AM until 4:00PM on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Service.
