He is survived by: his parents, Eric Plattenburg and Chelle Plattenburg; his daughters, Kylee Mae and Emmaree Rose Plattenburg; his sister Taylor Plattenburg (Daniel Morris); his grandparents, Carolyn Street and Tom Plattenburg; his uncles, Kenny Street, Dave (Sally Duncan), Hayne (Pat Plattenburg) and Gene (Lisa Plattenburg); and his cousins, Charity Broyhill (Bobby), Kyle Broyhill, Heather Duncan, Cheryl Smith (Franky), Jennifer Lloyd (Mark), Melinda Thornton, Dustin Plattenburg, Travis Plattenburg (Jennifer), Sidney Plattenburg (Laura), Ashley Parson (Brandon) and Tyler Rape (Jeremy).

In lieu of flowers, the family will be honoring Kyle's name in a unique way to benefit wildlife management.
