He was predeceased by: his sister Phyllis Burgess; and his parent Rufus Rape. He is survived by: his parent Frances Wall Rape; his wife Carolyn Medlin Rape; his children, Stephen D. Rape (Melissa), Larry Rape, Jr (Butch), Christy and Lisa R. Jordan (Tim); and his siblings, Rufus Rape, Sylvia Driggers (Benny) and Freda Barbee.
