She is survived by: her parent Fannie Dorton Hartsell; her son Rick McManus of Monroe, NC; her sister Helen Dorton of Midland; her grandchildren, Mark McManus of Concord and Vicky Jackson of Myrtle Beach; and also Ashley Jackson Helms of Monroe. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
