She was predeceased by: her parents, William Allison Howie and Flossie Harriett Lingle Howie; and her husband Joe Paul Gamble Jr. During. She is survived by: her children, Harriett Moore (Steve) of Marvin, Jim Gamble (Kim) of Charlotte and Joey Gamble (Amy) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Andrew Moore (Brittany), Nicholas Moore (Dena), Allie Gamble, Mary Gamble (Tim Davies), Will Gamble (Carrie Hamrick) and Jack Gamble (Danielle DelBene); her great grandchildren, Rhett, Austyn, Blakely and Beckham; and her brother Bill Howie (Betty) of Durham. She is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
