She was predeceased by: her husband Conley Cunningham of Indian Trail; her parents, Boyce Whitley Sr. and Ruby Whitley (Laney); and her sister Carolyn Pender (Whitley). She is survived by: her children, Vangie Whitley (Cindy Wallace) of Charlotte and Patrick Whitley (Patty Whitley); her grandchildren, Kelly Whitley Miller (Andy Miller), Paige Schwarz and Kyle Whitley; her great grandchildren, Norah and Callie Miller; her siblings, Shirley Cockrell, Norma Williams of Monroe, Kathy Uemura, Boyce Whitley, Mitchell Whitley and David Whitley; and her former husband Lloyd Whitley (Gene). She is also survived by spouses, children and grandchildren.
