She was predeceased by: her parent Earl Surratt; her husband Lloyd Tucker; her children, Tommy Tucker, Lloyd "Butch" Tucker and Alice "Joy" Heath; and her siblings, Earl Surratt and Bobbie Hartis.
She is survived by: her parent Loretta Helms Surratt; her daughter Brenda Mitchell; her sister Ruth Broome; her children-in-law, Robert Heath and Julia Bragg Tucker; and her grandchildren, Tim Mitchell, Alan Mitchell, Taft Tucker (Angie) of Mooresville, Matthew Tucker (Brooke) of Monroe, Courtney Baker and Holly Springs. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
