It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Angeline Devoe (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest William DeVoe; her daughters-in-law, Elsie McCoy DeVoe and Donna Shelton DeVoe; and her grandchildren, Kelly Lynn DeVoe and Frederick Neal DeVoe, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry DeVoe of Monroe, NC, Fred DeVoe (Renee) of Monroe, NC and Curtiss DeVoe of Horn Lake, Mississippi.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
