It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Mae Simpson (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Del Harvey and Mary Shepherd Harvey; her former husband James Kimmer; her husband Alvin Simpson; and her brother Zenas Harvey.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Kimmer; her sister-in-law Darlene Lowder (Chuck); and her nephews, Johnny Lowery, Gerald Lowery, Chip Lowder and Joseph Lowder.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be to Hospice of Union County.
