She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Laine and Peggy Jean Corpman Laine. She is survived by: her husband Richard Elden Fondriest; her stepmother Rhonda Laine; her children, Richard Fondriest (Courtenay), Ryen Fondriest (Amy), Tyler Fondriest (Hannah) and Sarah Sims (Jacob); and her siblings, John Laine (Linda), Deborah Garr-Laine, Will Laine (Allison) and Bobby Laine (Angela). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Graceway Baptist Church (4700 Weddington Rd, Matthews, NC 28104).
