She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Smith and Lucille Holcomb Smith; her husband Gary Allen Dennis; her children, Derek Allen Dennis and Wanda Janine Layton; and her siblings, Buddy Smith, Jimmy Smith, Bobbie Kissiah and Linda Cook.
She is survived by: her niece Kim Dennis (Richard) of Monroe. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
