She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Newton Rhodes and Oleta Johnson Rhodes; her husband Ted Richard Eason; and her brothers, James Rhodes and Johnny Rhodes.
She is survived by: her son Tim Eason of Indian Trail; her brothers, Frankie Rhodes (Brenda) of Charlotte and Howard Rhodes of Indian; her sister-in-law Geraldine of Charlotte; her daughter Monica Eason Knight (Anthony) of Pageland, SC; her grandchildren, Derrick McManus of Indian Trail and Drake Knight of Pageland, SC; and her siblings' children, Julie Eason Jenkins of Hiddenite, NC and David Eason of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
