It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel Ann Drake (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Houston Pressley and Sally Mae Medlin Pressley; her husband Jimmy Eugene "Gene" Drake; and her brothers, Paul Pressley and Burrell Pressley.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Baucom (Tom) and Jimmy B. Drake (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Kelly Hinson (Jeff), Shannon Wright (Tony), Scott Drake (Jessica) and Lauren Helms (Brandon); and her siblings, Sam Pressley (Carolyn), Mary Nance (Parks), Laura Little, Judy Hinson (Dwayne) and Donna Shaw (Lawrence). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Mill Creek Baptist Church (Building Fund) 5417 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, NC, 28110.
