We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2020, at the age of 70, Randy Helms (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Grady Helms and Agnes Helms; his former life partner Terry W. Helms; and his sisters, Aleene Smith and Edith Hicks.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Helms; his daughters, Ramona Lawson (Brian) and Misty Digsby; his grandsons, Zachary Helms, Matthew Lawson and Dylan Lawson; his siblings, Grady Helms (Jean), Jack Helms (Judy), Marilyn Purser, Ann Helms and Dawn Strawn (Raymond); and his stepchildren, Lannie Widgeon, Jeff Widgeon, Brian Jefferson and Connie Jefferson. He is also survived by nineteen step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Grace Baptist Church.
