He is survived by: his wife Christine Helms Yow of Monroe, NC; his children, Jeff Yow (Kim) of Monroe, Pam McWhorter (Russell) of Monroe, NC, Brian Yow (Melissa) of Oakboro, NC and Lisa Mills (Jeff); his siblings, Beatrice Webb (Gene), Charlene Pepper, Betsy Cannup (David) and Don Yow (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Matt Yow (Michelle) of Waxhaw, NC, Tyler Lee (Richard) of Monroe, NC, Sonia McWhorter of Charlotte, NC, Hailey Yow of Oakboro, NC, Hayden Yow of Oakboro, NC, Brandy Mills-Cain (Mat) of West Garner, ME, Logan Mills of Midland, NC and Seth Medlin of Albemarle, NC; and his great grandchildren, Austin Lee and Mattox Yow.
