It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Mullis Sr. (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mildred Gardner Mullis; and his siblings, Lela Mullis Griffin and Wayne Mullis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Mullis; his children, Sherry Mullis Hudson (Jim) and Roy "Tom" Mullis, Jr.; his grandsons, Chad Hudson and Shawn Hudson (Melissa); his great grandchild Cole Hudson; his siblings, James Mullis, Buren Mullis (Betty), Hubert Mullis (Joyce), George Mullis, June Mullis, Edith Mullis Little and Hazel Mullis VanBerschot; and his stepdaughter Tammy Weaver (Dale). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
