He is survived by: his wife Debbie Helms Whitley of Monroe, NC; his son Shane Whitley (Melanie) of Waxhaw, NC; his granddaughter Tori Whitley of Waxhaw, NC; and his siblings, Brenda Hamilton of Monroe, NC, Jane Baucom (Donnie) of Monroe, NC and Eddie Whitley (Sandra) of Monroe, NC..
