She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred "Ken" Nemer, II; her sister Charlotte Stewart; her grandmother Ethel Seymour; and her parents, Marshall "Ben" and Joy Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Nemer and Kelly Stegall (Steven); her grandchildren, Levy and Magdalena "Lena" Stegall; and her siblings, Bill Stewart (Sharon) and Barbara Kuly (Rod). She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the South Piedmont Community College Foundation in support of the Compass Education Program, a program that assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities transitioning to employment and/or higher education opportunities.
