She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Tarlton and Emmie Tarlton; her husband Hiram Stegall; her son Michael Stegall; her son-in-law Ernie Carraway; and her siblings, Charles "Pete" Tarlton, Jr. of Monroe, Jackie Moss of Monroe and Carolyn Rape of Florida.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Carraway of Waxhaw and Lori Stegall of Waxhaw; her granddaughters, Emily Hailey of Waxhaw and Lindsey Sistare (Brent) of Monroe; and her siblings, Marvin Tarlton (Joyce) of Monroe and Brenda Pressley of Monroe. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
