It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tempie Mullis of Monroe, North Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Murphy and Hazel Whitfield Murphy; her son Daniel Paul Mullis; her sisters, Hamlet Brigman, June Crane and Adina Shuping; and her significant other Boyce Reid Mullis.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Mullis (Jill), Randy Mullis and Robin Mullis Franklin (Mark) of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Bo Abernathy, Luke Abernathy, Brett Abernathy, Hunter Mullis, Sam Mullis and Logan Mullis.
