With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgie Ann Smith of Monroe, North Carolina, born in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Goodman and Alice Jewel Goodman; and her former husband Al Smith. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Dawn Smith of Monroe, NC.; her husband Elijah Alexander Smith; her children, Ben Smith (Dawn) and Sherry Smith Mullis (Frank); her grandchildren, Sarah Ross (Matt), Lydia Loffer (Caleb), Alex Smith (Elizabeth), Carla Mullis and Steven Mullis; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Liam, Remi and Rhys.
