She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Smith and Ila Eudy Smith. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Wilson Mullis; her children, Brent Edmond Mullis (Kathy) of Monroe and Elizabeth "Beth" Dawn Mullis of Monroe; her sisters, Doris S. Preslar of Monroe and Vivian S. Price of Charlotte; her siblings-in-law, Herbert Thomas of Fort Mill, SC and Hazel Smith of Fort Mill, SC; and her grandchildren, Eli Mullis, Shelby Moretz of Fort Hood, TX and Allison Mullis of Monroe. She is also survived by numerous niece, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
