He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Autry and Georgia Autry; and his sisters, Lois Mills and Eunice Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Norma "Nookie" Autry; his brother Leroy Autry; and his siblings-in-law, Lance Aldridge, J. E. Aldridge, Ken Phifer, Helen Cox, Ann Dora Rollins, Shirley Phifer and Kayte Aldridge.
