He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Reece and Ethel Frances Horne Deason; his wife Anne Deason; and his siblings, James Deason, Wayne Reese Deason, John Frank Deason, William Harvey Deason, Frances Deason Edwards and Geneva Deason Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Deason (Jennifer) of Pageland, SC and Dennis Deason (Ashley) of Monroe, UT; and his siblings, Margie Deason Noe of Lancaster, SC, Earl Deason (Thelma) of Pageland, SC, Charles Deason (Anita) of Pageland, SC and Ronnie Deason (Cathy) of Mt Croghan, SC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
