He is survived by: his parent Roxie Mangum; his wife Marcia Rorie Mattox; his children, Ronald "Ronnie" Lewis Mattox of Monroe, NC, Sylvia Burns (Larry) of Hickory, NC and Brian Reid Mattox of Monroe; his sister Ruth Small of Charlotte, NC.; his granddaughter Mary Warren (Derrick) of Lincolnton, NC; and his great grandchild Sophia Warren of Lincolnton, NC..
