He is survived by: his wife Judy Wooten; his children, Joe Wooten, Wendy Sheprow (Brendan), Dan Wooten (Hope) and Bartley Wooten (Beth); his grandchildren, Zach (Bri), Maddie, Jake, Wil (Kayln), Ben, Jon, Bella, Lilly, Jed, Mack, Grey, Nate, Kelsey and Eli; his great grandchildren, Walker, Nora and Rosemary; his siblings, Sue Helms and Steve Wooten (Cindy); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Wooten, Jean Wooten and Sandra Wooten.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hopewell Baptist Church, 420 Hopewell Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
