She is survived by: her sisters, Helen L. Faires of Charlotte and Joyce L. Woodhouse of Raleigh; her son Gary H. Phillips (Angie) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Grant of Atlanta and Juliana of Charlotte; and also Noble of Charlotte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
