We bid farewell to Dorothy Belle Barnett Thielman (Montreat, North Carolina), born in Amarillo, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Barnett and Fannie Barnett; her husband Calvin Thielman; and her great grandchild Naomi Sara-Ann Thielman. She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Barnett Thielman (Sara), Frank Shelby Thielman (Abigail) and Nathan Maclyn Thielman (Margaret). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Prodigal (358 Texas Rd, Montreat, NC 28757).
