She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Pendergrass and Lucy Neal Pendergrass; her son David Alden Stiles; and her siblings, Delphia Stiles, Florence West and Johnny Pendergrass.

She is survived by : her husband Marshall Stiles; her children, Michael Stiles (Jennifer) of Mooresboro, Bryan Stiles (Roxanne) of Shelby and Donna Justice (Roger) of Shelby; her siblings, Frances Davis (Wayne), Wanda Mashburn (John) and Wayne Pendergrass (Susan); her grandchildren, Kristi Stiles (Jake Johnson), Alan Justice (Christy) and Anthony Stiles (Morgan); her great grandchild Marshall Alan Justice; her niece Susie Davis (Virgil); her great-nephew Josh Reid Davis; and also Lori Cook (Andrew).

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, Cliffside Baptist Church or Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
