It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Carol Wirth of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Iserson and Idabelle Voege Iserson; her husband John Stanley Wirth; her grandson Michael Wirth; and her son-in-law Johannes Hurbanek.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Wirth (Rhonda), Charlotte Wirth and Lori Kolb (Chuck); her grandchildren, Tarrah Portnova, Michael Kolb (Bailey) and Brian Kolb (Courtney); and her great grandchildren, Charlie Kolb, Coda Kolb and Londyn Portnova.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home ((Hwy 150), 494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Northlake Memorial Gardens (11001 Alexandriana Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
