She was predeceased by : her parents, Rufus Brooks and Lena Morrow Brooks; her husband Roy "Bill" Waugh; and her son Tony Allen Waugh. She is survived by : her daughter Lori Waugh Cruse; her sister Virginia Ann McConnell; her daughter-in-law Teresa Waugh; and her grandchildren, Jamie Roger, Brandon Christy, Brent Christy, Bani Jones and Brooke Kennedy. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
