He was predeceased by: his parents, Lark Gunter and Zella Gunter (Weaver); his wife Clo; and his sisters, JoAnn Faught, Frances Clayton and Nople King.
He is survived by: his children, Butch Gunter and Keva Armstrong; and his grandson Reid Armstrong. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home (1317 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301).
