He was predeceased by : his parents, Hiram Eddie Brown, Sr. and Mattie Jewell Scott Brown; and his sister Barbara Scott. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Greenhill Brown; his son James "Jimmy" Scott Brown (Kim); and his grandchildren, Mattie Rae Brown and Stewart Scott Brown.
