It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Reid Moore Sr. of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Moore and Lila Troutman Moore; his wife Susan Johnston Moore; his children, Jennifer Elaine Moore, Samantha Moore Buxton (Greg) and James "J. R." Reid Moore, Jr. (Christy); his sister Susan Moore Holbrook; and his pet Xander.
