It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Louise Smith of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jappie "Jake" Lonzo McLester and Mary Elizabeth Faggart McLester; her husband Rev. E. A. "Dick" Smith; her son David Phillip Smith; and her siblings, Aubrey Lonzo McLester (Edith) of Concord, Annie Belle Stone (Rayvon) of St. Paul's and Mary Alice McLester (Homer) of Concord.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Paul Smith of Atlanta, GA and Pamela Smith Killian (Earl) of Mooresville; her grandsons, Henry Killian, Joseph Killian (Jenny) and Clifford Killian of Mooresville; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Hendrick, Collin and Conner.
