She was predeceased by: her parents, Orien Jack Carpenter and Minta Pearl Carpenter; her husband John; and her siblings, Loren Ray Carpenter, Stan Carpenter, Neil Carpenter, Betty Jean Miller and Patsy Marilla Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Hribar (Vic), Mark Strayer, Brian Strayer and Melanie Strayer-Schaffer (Steve). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
