Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Martha Copley Scruggs (Mooresville, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 88, on May 9, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Olene Copley and Lee Copley; her husband Lyle Scruggs; and her siblings, Shirley Wilkerson and Buddy Copley.

She is survived by: her son Kevin Scruggs (Laura); her grandchildren, Kyle Scruggs (Lake) and Hannah; and her sisters, Annie Lee Kluttz, Aggie Peninger and Cathy Joyner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
