She is survived by: her children, Braya Evetta Payne and Brandon Willie Payne; her mother Evetta Payne; her sibling's children, Avion Payne and Khloe Payne; her grandfather Melvin James Vanderburg; her aunts and uncles, Sherylwynne Carr, Twanna Vanderburg-Robinson (Delvin), Lakeisha Marshall-Lackey (Mickki), Allen Payne, James Vanderburg (Tamika) and Timothy Vanderburg (Nancy); her great-aunt Annie Louise Ethridge; and her friend Lee Clark. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A reception was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115).
