Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sarah LaRita Wilkinson of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 92, on October 14, 2025. She was predeceased by: her father John William; her husband Billy J. Wilkinson; and her sister Alma Lea Winkler of Boone, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Lou Ann Robinson (Tony), Scott Wilkinson (Amelia) and Casey Wilkinson; and her grandchildren, Meredith, Leah, Joshua, Sarah, Isaac, Grayson and Gavin. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Family Life Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prospect Presbyterian Church (9425 NC-152, Mooresville, NC 28115).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, located at 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625, or to Prospect Presbyterian Church at 9425 NC-152, Mooresville, NC 28115, in memory of this remarkable woman.The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported them during this time.
