He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Potter and Marion Bowman Potter; his daughter Casey J. Potter; and his sister Cheryl Freytag. He is survived by: his wife Sheila H. Potter; his daughters, Kristin Potter Louque and Traci Potter Bungay (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Miranda Potter, Sayla Potter Kuch, Kayden Ryland Potter, Margaret Louque, Henry Louque, Charles Louque and George Louque.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home ((Hwy 150), 494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115).
